OK, I see that here and there, folks are questioning the validity of the ebay claim that the CC info posted during the massacre the other morning are false. Here at the www.plmk.com website we find a very interesting post:

 Ebay Denies Credit Cards Authenticity in Hacked T&S Forum Posts

a title which somewhat belies the actual contents of the posting;

"I took screen grabs, at the time of the incident, of pages 1,2,3 and 28 of the T&S forum plus one of an opened post for reference purposes only. I must stress that I was very reluctant to test the ONE screen grab of users details that I had taken and expressed so in posts on eBay's forum but I had to know the truth. So very reluctantly I went to amazon.com to attempt to pre-order an iPod Touch."...

The article goes on to detail how this person was able to use a credit card number which had been posted, register his/her own email address together with the eBay users details and successfully use it for an iPod. There are plenty of screencaptures documenting every inch of the way. Be sure to see that.
Here is my favorite part:

' I cancelled the order with the reason given for cancellation as, "ebays security breached!" '

Does anyone really believe ebay?

   Now let me start out by offering a couple screengrabs which document the time frame involved
I had been going back through the pages to find the earliest examples, that is when I saw these of  which the post titles simply said "hey", by ID dfd1 ( 36 )  This is why I conclude that, along with similar reports of course. I may haben those screencaps, I really have sooo many I have not had time to view them all yet
As we see, they were posted at 04:23, and really began in earnest at 05:42 PTD

Moving along now to the very last of what I observed (lower screencapture) and documented, the last of the postings seems to have taken place at 06:51 PTD   Click here for the full view.
I have still not had time to see exactly when the forum was actually shut down, but I believe it was later than 07:23.   Note that some of those titles have what appear to be some sort of hashed values, while others have the title Wheeeeeeeeee... followed by a number. Hint: there is something different about those posts. I urge everyone who has captured these to look into the ID's  contained in those, and ALL postings. There are reports (post 1302) screencap (thread full view) that some of these compromised accounts are in fact those of ebay employees. And as a matter of fact, one of the persons I contacted regarding their info being dumped on the T &S bd advised me they had a "friend who works for ebay" which I found strange, but considering all the other strange things happening, it hardly phased me. Plus, I was contacting folks AS their info was STILL in full public view, and guiding them to it.
 
  This is all I have time for right now, but I ask again, look into those IDs. Obviously there is a different flavor to some of these posts. maybe Vladuz is too modest to come right out and tell us. Maybe he felt that concerned folks would dig deeply into this, as we all should. There is a lot more to this than what ebay is trying to pawn off on everyone, including other reports of unusual credit card activity that same day (post 995 ) at present]  (full view) (remove the _480 for full size) as if someone immediately grabbed the posted info and tried going on a spree.  Note many of the other interesting comments in that thread.
