Looking over at youtube just a little while ago at the comments area of a wildly popular video dealing with the 'padded listings', I saw a comment from youtube member vstarheav stating that he/she had been given a vacation from the ebay forums and that a thread discussing the issue was deleted.

I also was just able to find it on Google, but usually those cached pages evaporate quickly too.

What a shame. I guess ebay's famous quote from PCMag on March 4th 2008, from the article "EBay Accused of Padding Listing Numbers about not being afraid is false, eh?

"We're not afraid of hearing from our community and allowing them to post and discuss things and be angry on our boards."

Next, I see now that another very telling item has been deleted from the internet (almost) this time from the yahoo! message board for ebay finance. That was the thread/post wherein alleged ebay insider/paid pumper and paid word of mouth advertiser blurted out a statement about a "contingency plan" should ebay listing numbers drop too far. Oops!

Here is where I originally posted it, an image of the entire thread, and independent corroboration at suspendedfromebay blog.

While you are there, check out the other little 'accident' that happened on ebay regarding censorship, and a post by ebay member emovieposter.com  (20544) who chimed in with his thoughts and announcement that he was leaving ebay, which must have been too much for ebay.

They seem to hate anyone who might spread that  'thoughtcrime'

I betcha someone was hoping that would have completely vanished completely as well.

What I want everyone to do, is to get your pink slaps, and post them to youtube. Get any and all deleted threads and materials regarding this padded listing situation, and post it to youtube.

It does not have to be any Hollywood production. It can be still images or even one single still image. Whatever works... Remember, you can put links to whatever in your description.

The important thing is to have soo much evidence that ebay can no longer deny the incident, or the surrounding issues, such as the blatant censorship. (which again, all points to cover-up)

I hope everyone out there realizes that reports are being made. This info is finding it's way to the right places, but we need to make more noise. We want ebay to hear the noise. And tremble.

There is plenty of fodder still on the site, as I see that TheNerds Inc (AKA sdc_prod_9124_14) have items listed which appear to be 'phantom items" on ebay express, (despite the fact their feedback score is too low to qualify), and now 'phantom feedback' from those items apparently. Right now, there are STILL over 160K of those 'phantom items'
