So ebaY again, fails, spins big yarn and gets caught. And again no one is taking the time to look beyond their PR dept statements into the most rudimentary fact checking and or verifications.

They were called to the carpet at just one place I saw, auctionbytes blog, where this was asked:

"And mainstream media? Shame on you."

I'm not sure why we all keep making any mentions of emotion such as shame with regards to a heartless entity like ebay? This is all about greed, lies, corporate face and money. They have no shame, no pride, no hope.

I don't have the time or the expertise, but I would love to see someone track down and find out how many major media outlets parent corporations are also ebay shareholders or affilliated/associated with ebay's named PR firm.

 Now for the one that almost got away... This cannot be found by searching news in any way I have tried. How convenient.

Wherein we find this telling paragraph among so many others;

[...]EBay’s search engine was down for most of the day after a worker made a change to the system, causing it to crash, said John Pluhowski, a spokesman for the San Jose, California-based company. The technical issue “resulted from a surge in live listings” ahead of the holiday season, EBay said.[...]

 I wonder if they lied about anything else?

Interesting visual characteristic on the daily chart for 11-21-2009 though. It does seem as if there is something familiar about that.
