They were called to the carpet at just one place I saw, auctionbytes blog, where this was asked:

I'm not sure why we all keep making any mentions of emotion such as shame with regards to a heartless entity like ebay? This is all about greed, lies, corporate face and money. They have no shame, no pride, no hope.
I don't have the time or the expertise, but I would love to see someone track down and find out how many major media outlets parent corporations are also ebay shareholders or affilliated/associated with ebay's named PR firm.
Now for the one that almost got away... This cannot be found by searching news in any way I have tried. How convenient.
Wherein we find this telling paragraph among so many others;

There was no surge. The charts are clear about that. ebaY is a dyed in the wool liar.

I wonder if they lied about anything else?
Interesting visual characteristic on the daily chart for 11-21-2009 though. It does seem as if there is something familiar about that.
